The OltrePlinio project, in collaboration with the project Plinius: ars et natura (Universität Tübingen) and the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (MANN), has given its scientific support to this event, dedicated to Pliny the Elder’s thoughts on nature.
Prof. Gianfranco Adornato will give the lecture “Pliny and zoology: tassonomy, anecdots, archaeological evidence” and guide a tour at the MANN on “Pliny, the MANN and nature“.
